RAP includes a variety of interactive software database tools to view, query, and extract data. Two interactive viewers (Watershed Viewer and Query) allow users to view or query individual metrics and rankings for individual watersheds. In addition, specific dynamic tools within RAP have been developed to facilitate watershed, subwatershed, area of interest, climate, and field data extraction.  Video tutorials have been developed for some  tools.

Watershed Viewer
This tool allows users to view overall ranking and corresponding physical landscape metrics for individual watersheds.

Watershed Query
This tool allows users to interactively query 1,574 watersheds and summarize corresponding physical landscape metrics as well as relative rankings. A list of all searchable RAP watersheds can be found here - RAP Watershed List.

Sub New Metric Extraction Tool (Extract Subwatershed or your own user defined Area of Interest (AOI))
 This tool allows users to interactively create a sub-watershed or draw your own AOI and summarize corresponding physical landscape metrics. This tool is for all areas within the RAP study area except for areas south of San Francisco, CA.

Climate Tools

Pacific Northwest Temperature and Flow Extraction
This tool allows users to interactively query climate predictions (temperature and discharge) and view hydrographs for 1916-2006, 2020's, 2040s and 2080s at each river pixel in the Pacfic Northwest

North Pacific RIM Temperature and Flow Extraction
This tool allows users to interactively query climate predictions (temperature and discharge) and view hydrographs and temperature profiles for 1948-2000 and 2040s and 2080s scenarios (A1 B & B1) at each river pixel in the North Pacific Rim.

NEW Freeze Thaw Extraction Tool
This application was developed to allow users to select their Area of Interest (AOI) or subwatershed (within the RAP domain) to extract mean values for Freeze/Thaw data for a given study area. Two variables are provided - 1) the number of non-frozen days and 2) the primary onset day of non-frozen status

NEW Fractional Water Extraction Tool
This application was developed to allow users to select their Area of Interest (AOI) or subwatershed to extract mean values for Fractional Water (%) data for a given study area. Mean 15 day fractional water percentage is provided in a csv table.

NPP Photo NEW Net Primary Productivity Tool
This application was developed to allow users to select their Area of Interest (AOI) or subwatershed to extract mean values for Net Primary Productivity (NPP) data for a given study area.  Annual NPP anomaly data are generated from pixel-wise anomalies from the full data record pixel mean.
